From our first beginnings, our main focus has been the manufacture and supply of electrical carbon products and related components for transport and industry.

The term “electrical carbon” refers to parts made from carbon designed to carry electrical current - usually from a moving to a stationary point in an electrical circuit, such as carbon brushes in an electric motor or generator. These are often fitted as part of an assembly incorporating brush holders or other components, many of which are also manufactured or supplied by Gerken and our affiliates.
